About The Wild Rose

Hey there, I'm Michaela - Owner of The Wild Rose Boutique.

My love for style started at a very early age. My favorite days were spent shopping all day with my mom and grandma. Our goal was always to find something unique or even a little wild. My love of fun style continued to grow as I completed a Fashion Merchandising Major at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. This opened my eyes to all the different aspects of the fashion world, from designing, textiles, sourcing and merchandising. 

My passion for curated pieces doesn't stop with fashion. I love a good Saturday spent hunting for the perfect vintage home decor with my mom and sisters. You'll find some of those pieces when you shop in person with me at pop-up events. As I have gotten older, I have acquired a deep love for authentic vintage turquoise and a perfectly worn leather bag. I appreciate the quality craftsmanship and unique personality you can get from a good vintage find.

When I'm not curating collections for the boutique, you'll find me living the ranch life alongside my husband and our two sweet and rowdy boys. This dream has allowed me to stay home with my kiddos and for that I am so grateful.  

The Wild Rose is an extension of my own style - a blend of boho, timeless, a little western and sometimes a bit wild. I don't believe that you have to have a set style. That's the fun part about fashion. You can change up your vibe depending on your mood or the occasion. My goal is to bring you pieces that you don't see everywhere and feel authentic - ones that tell a story like a great leather bag, a comfy pair of denim, or the perfect everyday top.
